English Learning Adventure

English Learning Adventure is a language school based in Essex, England. On our courses you will stay in the home of your teacher, living as a member of the family, learning English on a one to one basis becoming totally immersed in the language. By living in the home of your teacher you will be surrounded with the English language - conversation, television, radio and English life, you will learn more in a much shorter period of time.

While you are staying with your teacher you will have the opportunity to see and do everything that is British....enjoy a typical English breakfast, watch a soap opera, take a cream tea in Old Leigh fishing town, ride the underground in London and just experience living life as part of a British family.

Our English courses develop not only essential writing, vocabulary and grammar skills but also your conversational skills. It's the most natural
way to learn a language and to get to know more about the British culture.

What makes English Learning Adventure different?

At English Learning Adventure you are able to learn English living in the home of your teacher in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can also choose to take part in a wide range of water sports and other activities to practise and improve your newly learned English skills on our English Plus Adventure course. The activities we currently have available to choose from are:

We have a range of different courses to choose from - Business English, English Plus Adventure, Young Learners, General English, Private Tuition and our Mini Summer Camp.

If you wish to come and study with a relative or friend we can teach two students together.

We offer a home from home with a warm, friendly and hospitable teacher in a wonderful location with a comfortable home.

On our English Plus Adventure course you can choose to learn water sports; kayak, wind surfing, canoeing, sailing, jet-ski or powerboat as part of your course – along with many other activities.

We are located conveniently only an hour from London and all the major airports.

Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged as per your instructions.

If you are already living in England we can offer part time intensive private study courses, this is a great option for Au Pairs who are coming to work, study and live here or people who already live and work in the UK.
